Please check your RSS Feed!

Hi!

Just a quick post for those of you who have been with me since the days of http://joannageary.wordpress.com.

First of all, a big THANK YOU for sticking with me. I am an unreliable blogger and I know it. I hope to change that a bit soon.

Secondly, my domain mapping runs out in the next 24-48 hours and I don’t think I’m going to renew it.

You may need to update your RSS feeds and your bookmarks.

Thanks.

Plugin-tastic: the inevitable WP plugins post

One of the truly wonderful and fun things about having your own WordPress blog is that you get to experiment with all the additional plugins and add-ons that are available for free.

I thought I’d list the ones I am using so far and if anyone has any reccommendations I’d be grateful for them!

So far I have installed:

Askimet – as standard, everyone needs a good spam filter.

All in One SEO Pack – I’m hoping that means Google will pick up less random bits of my blog in searches.

Broken Link Checker – for I had many in the transfer over to joannageary.com.

Google Analyticator – so that I can track my website stats.

WordPress Database Backup – just in case it all goes wrong.

WordPress Reports – allows me to see “at-a-glance” Google Analytics and Feedburner stats in my WordPress dashboard.

What is going on with WordPress Stats?

I clStrange WordPress Graphicked on my blog stats today and got this rather odd graph:

What does it mean?! What are Region A and Region B? And why were they doing something in 2003 – 2005 when my blog wasn’t even a twinkle in my eye?!

When I refreshed the graph went back to normal, but I’d love to know if anyone else has had something similar or knows why it might have happened.
